The meaning of 666: an exegetical analysis of Revelation 13:18
Resumen
Bachelor of Theology After studying the different schools of interpretation that have developed throughout
the history of Christendom, it may be normal to side with or adopt the interpretation most
logical to any individual. If the historical flow of events can be seen in the Bible prophecies
then we tend to adopt a historicist method of interpretation. If we wonder what the original
readers thought when they read Revelation for the first time, and convince ourselves that the
major part of Revelation was fulfilled during the reign of Rome, then we adopt a preterist
method of interpretation.
